Sydney Impact 100

Resiliens is proud to be a donor for Sydney Impact 100.

Sydney Impact 100 is a giving circle that funds specialist, local charities to dream big and transform the lives of people in need in our city.

Each year, 100 individuals, families and businesses make a donation of at least $1,000 each, creating a major grant of $100,000.

Together we choose which not-for-profit will receive our annual grant and put it to work to make an extraordinary impact on the lives of the Sydney community creating a better Sydney.

In 2022, the funding was allocated to The Reconnect Project which will now deliver traineeships and work experience in mobile phone repair to 25 young people with neurological or psychosocial disabilities. The program will give them the skills for future employment through a supportive learning environment.

In 2021, the funding was allocated to Shine for Kids, a programme that  transforms the lives of children and young people in juvenile detention.

TWOGOOD CO

TwoGood started as a road-side barbeque, which developed into an organic soup kitchen in Sydney’s Kings Cross. Now, they are donating food to 36 shelters across greater Sydney. To finance their operation they sell corporate catering as well as soaps and lotions.

Resiliens has facilitated pro bono training for TwoGood Co to ensure that their women have the highest standard of training. www.twogood.com.au

Their impact doesn’t stop there. Two Good employs women from domestic violence shelters, equipping them with the skills they need to prepare meals from their Sydney kitchen. These meals are sold to the general public. The initiative helps these women rebuild their confidence levels, and provides them with a starting platform for securing long-term employment opportunities.
